Our front step had sunk a good two inches and was also at a bad angle. We had furniture delivered and noticed the guys had to be very careful going up the porch step. It had to be taken care of. I called A-1 and they came out within a few days for an estimate. I accepted the price and the job was done the next week. They raised and leveled the step and the sidewalk just before it. The height is now perfect! I don’t have to warn people to watch their step anymore.

​What I love about A-1 concrete was that the technicians exceeded the scope of the job because they have intuition. Basically they increased the height of a few slaps of concrete and steps, after doing so they realized the surrounding path didn't look right. In the end everything looked perfect.

Highly recommend this company. The estimator and office staff were friendly and knowledgeable with good communications keeping me informed as when the job would be done. The guys doing the work were also friendly, arrived on time and did a great job. Everything was clean and neat when they left. I'm very satisfied how my driveway looks, and now I don't have to be concerned with someone tripping on the uneven concrete. Plus they have a two year guarantee if a problem should occur.

Pete came out and looked over my repair request. (I had planned on meeting him at my location but a fire call came in prior to his arrival). He left an estimate and it came in way less than having to replace the front steps. The steps had sunk 6 - 8 inches being conservative. I waited another year to go through with the repair. He honored the original price. We had to play phone tag for a while to set-up a date, but we finally had our date set. They gave me a two hour time frame to arrive. They showed up within the first hour of that scheduled time. The crew that made that repair introduced themselves and explained what they planned on doing that day. They weren't sure they could make repairs without having the front stairs cracking more as they were very deteriorated. The crew worked about an hour and half in freezing temperatures to finish the job. They were able to lift the front steps back to the original height. The driveway is also now level too for my snow blower to slide smoothly down the driveway. In closing they showed up early, friendly, courteous and competent crew, thoroughly happy with their work, cleaned up when they were done. Nobody would know they were ever there. The cost was fair and inexpensive compared to replacing. I would definitely recommend them!

Had A-1 Concrete Leveling restore my approx. 180 SF front porch slab & front steps to their original position. House is over 50 years old. When we bought it 25 years ago, porch had settled against the inside wall 4 to 5 in. This created a higher than normal step at the front door & also pitched any rain water toward the house & foundation. Only solution up until now would have been to jackhammer out the old slab & pour a complete new one. Very costly, so you just deal with it. The A-1 process fixed it in about 2 hours. Crew & equipment all very professional. Reasonable cost as well, all done for $1300. I am a retired Harrison engineer & have had experience with industrial concrete work, but have not seen a process like this. Would recommend this to anyone without any reservation.

Let me start by saying that Pete Easton and his team are amazing. The porch at my son’s house was so uneven that we honestly thought the only option was to replace it entirely. In searching for options we found out about leveling and called a few places. When we contacted A-1, Pete scheduled a visit and came by to check it out. At our initial meeting, he proved himself to be knowledgeable, honest and just a real nice guy. The estimate was very, very reasonable (I’m talking about several thousand dollars less than several competitors). Nicole, Michelle and Alexis were there every step of the way and answered every question, etc. They are professional, accommodating and also really good people. I've use A-1 twice. Last year they raised a driveway slab that had sunk in front of the garage entrance, creating a 2" step up into the garage. Repeated use began to deteriorate the front edge of the garage floor. A-1 raised the slab to floor level and injected several voids under the floor too. Great result and the car now rolls smoothly in and out. The second fix was the concrete deck surrounding my in-ground, vinyl liner pool. The pool has a molded jacuzzi that's inset along the side of the pool with steps and a railing for entering/exiting the pool. When the pool was installed, the dirt for the pool was excavated, along with an additional section where the jacuzzi/steps would be placed. While the pool bottom under the liner was finished with a smooth concrete finish for the liner to rest on, the area under the jacuzzi was gravel on which the jacuzzi was set, with no backfill under the molded seats, seat backs, etc. This created a huge void in all of these areas. The jacuzzi has many integral pipes and hoses that are exposed in the void, along with some pipes running to the pool drains and return jets. Over the years, the ground level concrete deck that surrounds the jacuzzi began to sink, exposing openings and gaps between the decking and voids under the jacuzzi. The challenge for A-1 was to raise the sinking concrete deck around the jacuzzi without having the pressurized mixture flow into and completely fill the voids under the jacuzzi, risking possible breakage and/or crushing the pipes and hoses, as well as permanently burying those pipes in solid concrete, making them totally inaccessible for repair. A-1s crew carefully assessed the situation, and by careful placement of injection holes, they were able to successfully raise the deck slabs with minimal intrusion into the voids. We were able to monitor the amount of mixture flowing under the jacuzzi through the exiting gaps and it was evident that minimal intrusion was occurring as the slabs raised up. The result looks great. The deck slabs are now flush with the top of the jacuzzi and have a new, solid base to prevent future sinking. A very tricky problem solved. Thank you A-1.

Absolutely A-1. From initial contact with the office, project manager to tech who completed job. Took front steps and walkway from a twisted mess to the day it was poured. Job site manager was personal, professional, and polite. And on time. Would recommend to anyone.

I needed 2 patios and the drive way lifted and was having issues in my garage to my basement stairwell caused by one of the patios allowing roof runoff to undermine the patios which sank 3-1/2". During the winter months the water seeping in would freeze and push on the stair well wall, fracturing the mortar joints for the blocks. Seeing this, I assumed it was going to happen on the rest of the foundation that was in contact with the patios and driveway. That's when I contacted leveling contractors. A-1 which injects a limestone grout and another contractor who injects polyurethane foam. I chose A-1 because Peter, who did the estimate suggested adding Portland cement to the grout and fill the cells on my basement wall for reinforcement. The limestone grout fills all the voids and lifts the failed area proportionally for the patio and driveway. I don't think poly foam is firm enough to support a block wall against freezing hydraulic pressure if water penetration persists at 3 times the price.

We had a sunken spot near our driveway that would accumulate water, and eventually leak into the basement. We replaced 2 slabs that were broken. The price for replacing those 2, was approximately the cost of raising the other 5. They did a fantastic job, were on time, and answered the questions I had. My 2 year old daughter had a blast watching them work out of the window, and they were pleasant enough to wave and humor her attention. Their office contact was also very nice with scheduling. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

When we bought our house 6 years ago the front walkway was slightly sunken, but after a particularly cold winter, it got much worse. The bottom step was dangerously high, and we basically stopped using our front steps. My dad used A1 and had great results, but we were worried about how it would hold up with cold Buffalo winters. After three years his steps are still perfect, so we hired them this year, and it’s made such a huge difference! I no longer worry about someone getting hurt coming to our home, and the curb appeal is so much better. The staff were very professional, very good about following Covid guidelines, and were very responsive to my calls and messages. Highly recommend them!

About a year ago A-1 lifted our driveway to the level of the garage. Not only did they do a great job removing a serious tripping hazard but we discovered that with the correction to our drive, we no longer get water in our basement. Made an extra effort on this job. Sealed the gap between the sidewalk and steps. Worked hard to level the sidewalk. Very professional. This was much easier and less expensive than replacing the sidewalk.

Our driveway had sunk 2 or 3 inches near the garage over the past few years. We saw an ad describing how they correct this problem. They came out and gave us a very fair estimate, so we decided to have them do the work. They did a great job leveling our driveway to its original height, and it only took a couple of hours. We are extremely happy with the results. We recommend them highly.

We bought our house two years ago, and with it came a swimming pool. One of the first things I noticed was that three of the concrete walks around the pool had dropped, leaving an unsightly gap between the concrete slabs and the pool edge. I assumed I'd have to replace the concrete at great cost. Fortunately, I heard about A-1 Concrete Leveling. And, instead of replacing the perfectly fine slabs, they proposed leveling them, injecting a substance beneath the low places. They gave me a fair price and were well-reviewed, so I decided to go with them. The technicians showed up on time, and explained the process to me. The work was done quickly, and with no damage to my property, save the small unnoticeable holes drilled in the concrete for the injected leveler. Immediately, my pool looked so much better, and one year later, the slabs are still level and solid. I'd use A-1 again for any of my concrete leveling needs.

We had large areas of our pool deck that had sunken and were no longer draining properly, as well as some badly sunken sidewalk slabs. I was happy to find a company that could lift the concrete without needing to replace it all. I filled out the form on their website on a Sunday night, and by Monday morning they had already responded in a professional and friendly manner. Pete came out to inspect the pool deck as soon as we had the cover off, was very professional during the inspection, and quickly delivered us an estimate that evening. They completed the job in less than 2 weeks from when I returned the estimate. Their crew did a good job with the pressure injection, and they cleaned everything up afterward (they even were able to preserve the channel drains). The office staff was very responsive and respectful (including following up phone calls with texts instead of just relying on voicemail). We had a great experience with A-1, and it's clear that they really care about delivering a great customer experience.

We had uneven and tilted concrete blocks on our sidewalk in front of the house. We got an estimate from A1 within days last fall! Others never answered their phone or they never showed up and we are still waiting! Sammy and Alfonso showed up on time today as the weather now cooperates after the cold winter, and in about 90 minutes the job was done. Everything was cleaned up and we could now go bowling on my front sidewalk! Smooth and level! Reasonably priced compared to a new sidewalk! They took pride in their work and did a great job. A Representative quoted the job, the crew came on the scheduled day and resolved the issue perfectly. A two-man crew pulled up in their very technical truck around 0915 and began immediately. From the initial estimate to the finished product each person I dealt with at A-1 were true professionals! During the estimate, Peter explained the process and left me with a complete, easily understandable detailed estimate. Nicole was extremely accommodating in scheduling the job and Eddy and his crew were neat, tidy and very considerate of our home and property while performing the work. I really thought our pool was beyond an economical repair, but A-1 really came through. They lifted one corner five inches and filled in every hollow washed out area along the sides. We needed 10 blocks leveled and replacing the sidewalks with new concrete was a bit out of our budget, so I contacted A-1 to come and give us an estimate on leveling our sidewalks. I recently had three areas completed at my home. A huge driveway slab that was so cockeyed (the corner was about 4" higher than it should have been) it was a problem for my snowplow driver to plow the drive properly, a sunken slab entryway at the side door (about 2" below grade) and a sunken, cracked front entryway path. All three were raised and leveled in one afternoon with great results! The price was reasonable and the crew, Eddie and Sammy, are top notch professionals. They arrived on time, got right to work and cleaned up afterwards. Good guys! Nicole, a lovely person, was very prompt and professional as well. The estimate was highly detailed, including pictures, so we were on the same page from the beginning. I give this organization my highest recommendation! This application is genious! I had an issue where my front walkway and step had sunk considerably over the years, and had become unsafe and dangerous. They lifted the concrete about 5-6 inches and returned to how it is supposed to be. A-1 did a fantastic job... from the initial consultation, to the estimate, to the work, and through completion of the project... they made it very easy to do business with their company. Great job. First of all, I want you to know I am not related to the company nor a friend of the company. I heard many good things about the company and their work and they certainly delivered. A 1 Concrete leveling company did a very fine job leveling 4 each 10' x 10' sections of concrete that were adjacent to my house that dropped and sloped towards my house after 20 years and that was the reason for the job. Whenever it rained, the rain water would drain towards my house under the concrete and not away like it is suppose to. It has rained several times since they did the job in mid May of this year(2019) and so far the water has flowed away from the house in each time. The drilled holes are barely noticeable too. The job took approximately 3 hours and upon completion of the job, the work areas were cleaned up by the 2 man crew. I shall to do a follow up next year and the following year and will let you know if the leveling does hold up. If it doesn't, they told me they would honor their work for a year and even longer if necessary ...that was another reason why I hired them.

AMAZING JOB!!! Very friendly staff at the office and on the job. They saved us so much money. As you can see from the pictures we had a serious issue and did not want to have to tear down the entire garage to fix it. That's when I heard about mudjacking and found A-1 concrete online. They came out and filled in the void then came back to level the pads in the garage. I am so happy with the outcome of the work. Their price was lower than the other companies I called and they have many years of experience under their belt. The work was just completed. The two man crew showed up right on time and got to work immediately. They did an outstanding job at leveling the sidewalks, were very professional and friendly and left everything clean and neat. A-1 did a terrific job raising the concrete slabs in front of my garage! I can't believe how good everything looks and how wonderful it is to have removed the tripping hazard from the front of my garage. They even raised the attached side-walk in order to eliminate a resulting tripping hazard. My only regret is why I didn't call A-1 sooner!!! Great job leveling my patio. From the initial estimate to the finished product each person I dealt with at A-1 were true professionals! Michael came out to assess the issue and emailed me a detailed estimate with photos of the patio and clearly identified the work to be done. Nicole was extremely accommodating in scheduling the job and worked with me to get the job completed before my new patio door was to be installed. We contracted with A1 to level our front porch. We thought we were going to have to replace it. We got estimates to have the slab replaced and A1 was one- third the price! Eddy and Sammy arrived on time and were very efficient and friendly. Ron finished the job by caulking everything so it looked perfect! All we need to do is paint our porch and it will look new again! I can’t say enough great things about my experience with A-1. We needed our patio slabs and steps raised and pitched away from the foundation. Also, our front walkway needed slabs raised and the walkway reset as it had significantly sunk over time. From the moment I contacted A-1, they were extremely friendly and helpful. Very professional, explained what they were going to do before proceeding. They pointed out 2 small cracks and said they would do their best not to make them bigger. They didn't. Can't even see the cracks anymore! Back patio had to be raised 3-1/2". Gentlemen were very neat and friendly. Would highly recommend using them.

Leveled my stamped concrete patio. Second time I've used A-1. First one lasted 9 years. Very skilled workers. Fast. Did a great job. It's a little pricey but worth the cost.

Great service from start to finish. We had leaking in our basement and I suspected it was due to the walkway on the side pitching towards the house. A1 came out and levelled the walkway and we have not had any water leakage since. I would recommend their services.

They came out the same day and gave me a written estimate. They were a few weeks out to complete the repair. I explained to them that I was having our landscaping redone and asked if they could complete the job sooner. They responded the same day and the repair was complete within two days. If you have any uneven concrete that needs to be raised I would definitely recommend A-1.

Even though I am sure my job was small compared to others they do, they were responsive and supportive throughout the entire process.

They charged a fair price to raise concrete pad and walkway in front of my garage. It went from a 3" drop to perfectly aligned. I recommend observing the process, it is fascinating and so fun to watch. :) I also like that they use natural materials and not polyurethane.

When I researched it, I was very excited about the concept because I had lived with broken, out of code steps and uneven sidewalk slabs for years. I thought I would have an expensive repair which required pouring new concrete so I avoided the repair. After doing some research, I found A1 Concrete Leveling. I requested a quote. The owner came out and did a thorough job explaining exactly what I was to expect. I was blown away with the cost. It was a FRACTION of what new concrete would cost.
When the A1 team came out, they drilled holes strategically in the slabs/steps, pumped a concrete mix into the holes and literally pumped up and leveled all surfaces. What a phenomenal idea!! Whoever invented "concrete leveling" is a genius. A1 Concrete did an absolutely awesome job. The steps and slabs look 1,000% better. I am so happy with the results. I can't recommend this company and this type of service enough. They are pros!! It's the best value for my home repair money that I have gotten in years.

I wish I had posted this earlier but a few weeks ago we had A1 come and level a horrible slanted slab on our backyard patio. We wanted to install our hot tub but the pitch was terrible. They came and leveled our pad and the results are amazing! After hooking up the hot tub our water was perfectly level. The work that they performed was incredible and I can't recommend them enough!
